I am sure I am not the only one who went trawling the internet for advice and reassurance AFTER things had gone wrong, then discovered Sasha Rodoy. I am glad I did, otherwise I might have let the clowns at OE operate on me for a second time to correct their original mistake.

While I should have researched more thoroughly prior to surgery, I sincerely hope all this recent press will educate those contemplating refractive eye surgery and make them think twice.

30% problems is way too high a risk for one of your most precious senses.

Replied by Streisand Effect of failed takedown on topic Streisand Effect of failed takedown

I was unaware of the potential problems until I read about the failed take-down attempt as published at The Register.

www.theregister.co.uk/2014/01/07/optical...wins_nominet_battle/

Yet another example of corporate bullying resulting in a Streisand Effect.

To quote WikiP:
"The Streisand effect is the phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet."

One would have thought competent lawyers would, by now, be aware of it.

NOMINET DRS Decision:

"The Expert finds that this is a resubmission of a Complaint already made, in substance, in DRS 11271, and that there are no exceptional grounds which would justify a rehearing. The Complaint is therefore rejected.

Signed Bob Elliott
Dated 1st January 2014
