I've been following this site for some time after talking myself out of my consultation since stumbling across OERML in a Google search for some more information.

Today I noticed that the Optical Express site has an ad/image at the top that says 'TrustPilot - 5 Stars - Excellent', but if you go on the TrustPilot site, they actually only have 4 stars and are rated as 'Good'.

Optical Express have also removed the Trustpilot review feed from their website. Not entirely sure but seems as if this may be a breach of advertising policy!

No job too small

A numbers of the surgeons listed as currently employed by Optimax on their website are not...
www.optimax.co.uk/our_surg…/doctors_training_history

But what you might find more interesting are the numbers of surgeons who trained at Optimax and now work at Optegra, London Vision Clinic, Optical Express, etc...

Scary!

Since posting this on Facebook & Twitter yesterday Optimax have taken the page down, but luckily I was working on screenshots so have attached below!

The red notations are mine - incomplete, but if you google their names you can find out where they are now... and some of you may discover that the surgeon who damaged your eyes trained at Optimax!

Optical Express claims of success rates in recruitment adverts:
"Work for a Company that changes people's lives for the better with 99.4% getting 6/6 vision or better and who achieves a 99% customer satisfaction score"

Surely they need to be clearer about the limitations of the statistics they are using?

Doesn't seem to have any mention of the sample these statistics came from!

It's crazy that Optical Express closed so many stores yet only mention openings on the news section of their website.

As for claims of "advanced vision care" - I wonder whether David Moulsdale can substantiate this?
