Far too many peoples eyes and lives have been ruined for this scandal (which is of epic proportions) to not be dealt with very soon. Judgement day is approaching fast for these grubby sight ruining businesses.

just read some of your stories Be careful as Ross Hall consultants work for Optical Express in Edinburgh clinics at weekends and in Silverburn Clinic. If David Mungall recommended you go to Ross Hall it is because he contacts the surgeons there to get them to say what he wants. If you need some one you can trust go to Professor Daya Center for sight in London. I had to have a corneal transplant after OE left me blind I am also in the process of a court case. Keep up the fight we need to shut them down for good

In my opinion after spending a wapping £600.00 pounds in just under 2 years on eye drops have narrowed it down to three:

1/Thealoz Trehalose 3% 10 ml bottle < Preservative free < Excellent

2/HYLO-CARE EYE DROPS -CORNEA CARE - 10ML (comes in blue, green and red) Excellent and the green are in the middle and cheaper than the blue and red! << Also Excellent

3/Carmeleze 0.5% or Carmellose which is beautiful on the eyes and not too expensive

Do NOT use Clinitas eye gel, actually do not use anything Clinitas - it is an absolute disaster for people suffering from laser eye surgery. Just get Lacri-Lube Eye Ointment Lubricant for night and place just a small amount above the lid on each eye.

As far as drops go you need to find one that suits you. Do you use gel at night?

I've been using artifical tears from boots hypermelose , I got my eyes done with ultra lase in glasgow by a surgeon called Kasim ! Now optitmax as they have been taken over , went back to ultra lase on sevrial occasions to be told it takes time to heal etc usual talk now been back to optimax twice last visit yestearday who say this is the side effects which we're stated in ur consent form and that my visions so good that its causing me to nitice these effects so I'm better to ignore them and focous on my good vision which is reading an eye chart!
I've got intouch recently with sachaa so she is got incontact with optimax to arrange a meeting

hi everyone jst a wee question how do ou all cope and stay positive because since having my eyes done 2 and a half years ago had suffering from glare halo's and hazy vision dry eyes all the time im constantly depressed regreting every day ov my life think im gonna end up having a nervous break down

Has anyone been told prior to surgery that DVLA must be informed if they've had eye surgery that has induced changes to their visual quality. If patients aren't told this prior to surgery, then this is another case of a lack of informed consent.

It is unbelievable isn't it? What a total shambles this is people's Eye's they cannot should not be making mistakes!!!!!! All the Surgeons who actually perform the Surgery should be Hauled into court and made to stand trial they should also be struck off the money grabbing skumbags!!!

Why should we put up with crap vision and a life of pain and misery while they live the high life thanks to us. GUINEA PIGS THAT'S WHAT WE WERE!!!
